Joining our trust

Joining our Trust

Moorlands Learning Trust (MLT) is a partnership organisation of like-minded schools, who work for the benefit of each other.

At MLT, professional trust is at the core of our work, where we recognise and respect the importance of individual schools having and retaining their own unique character.

We take a bespoke approach to working in partnership with our schools according to their particular needs and context, where there is not a one-size fits all viewpoint.

Having formed as a sponsor multi-academy trust (MAT) with two schools, both of whom now have successful improvement journeys, we are at a point where we are seeking additional partner schools who want to become part of, and can contribute to, our Trust and its vision and aims. (Read our vision statement here.)

If you're a school or provider looking to make a wider contribution to system leadership in the North or West Yorkshire areas, or are wanting to formally extend your professional network and secure your organisation's long term future in an ever-changing educational landscape by joining a successful MAT, then we believe Moorlands Learning Trust could be the right partner for you.

Similarly, if you are a school currently in need of support seeking a partnership MAT who can provide capacity for school improvement, including in the context of the new Ofsted framework, then Moorlands Learning Trust could be the right partner for you. Our research-driven, proven school improvement and support strategy, underpinned by our ‘Exceptional Curriculum Design Principles’ and ‘Exceptional Teaching and Learning Toolkit’, enable and empower all our schools to improve and ultimately excel.

Whatever your context or current situation, we are confident that Moorlands Learning Trust can make a positive difference to you.
