Joining our Trust

Moorlands Learning Trust (MLT) is a partnership organisation of like-minded community schools, who work for the benefit of each other. 

At MLT, professional trust is at the core of our work, where we respect the importance and value of individual schools having and retaining their own unique character, and recognise that schools know their local communities best. 

We take a bespoke approach to working in partnership with our schools according to their particular needs and context, where there is not a one-size fits all viewpoint. 

Having formed as a sponsor multi-academy trust (MAT) in 2019 with two contrasting community secondary schools, both of whom now have very successful improvement journeys, we have since grown our Trust with a third secondary school and our first 3 primary partner schools joining us in September 2023. 

All MLT schools share our Trust vision and aims and we are very keen to work with any additional schools who also want to become part of our Trust. (Please read our vision statement here.)
