Benton Park School student meets The King at Holocaust Memorial Day Ceremony
A Year 11 student from Benton Park School has taken part in a national Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony at Buckingham Palace this year, representing both her school and the Trust.
Nuraniya, a Year 11 Anne Frank Trust Ambassador, was invited to attend the official event marking Holocaust Memorial Day and the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. As part of the ceremony, Nuraniya met His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen, and joined representatives from across the country in remembrance and reflection.
The invitation recognises Nuraniya’s commitment to promoting a society safe from prejudice and discrimination through her work with the Anne Frank Trust. Benton Park School is incredibly proud of her achievement and of the way she represented both her school community and Moorlands Learning Trust at such a significant national event.
