Ashlands Primary School Wins Best in Parade at Ilkley Carnival 2025
Ashlands Primary School proudly took home the coveted Matt King Best in Parade trophy at the Ilkley Carnival this year. With a record-breaking 170 pupils participating, the school’s vibrant entry was the result of a whole-school Maker Day, where every year group contributed to crafting imaginative costumes using entirely upcycled and recycled materials.
Headteacher, Donna Russell praised the creativity and teamwork of the children and staff and thanked the carnival organisers for a truly wonderful local event that celebrates community spirit and supports local causes.
