Talbot Primary School Joins Moorlands Learning Trust
Talbot Primary School in Roundhay has officially joined Moorlands Learning Trust as of 1st November 2025, marking the first primary school in Leeds to become part of MLT’s strong collaborative of schools, united by a share commitment of excellence, inclusion, and opportunity for all.
Rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted, Talbot joins MLT to further strengthen its professional networks and partnership whilst also being able to benefit from the Trust’s existing collective expertise and wider support network.
Headteacher, Parm Gill believed that by following Talbot’s vision and upholding the values of Courage, Truth, and Loyalty, this partnership would enrich the curriculum and offer even greater opportunities to both staff and learners, ensuring everyone is inspired, challenged, and well-prepared for the future.
This collaboration builds on the recent addition of Benton Park School, the first secondary school in Leeds to join the Trust in August and further reinforces MLT’s vision to enable every student to excel, by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to make a positive difference in their lives and the lives of others.
