Benton Park School Joins Moorlands Learning Trust
Benton Park School in Rawdon has officially joined Moorlands Learning Trust (MLT) as of 1st August 2025, marking a significant milestone in the school’s development.
This strategic move follows a £37 million rebuild completed in 2021 and brings Benton Park into a network of high-performing schools committed to excellence, inclusion, and opportunity.
Headteacher, Nicholas Skilton emphasised the school’s excitement about retaining its unique identity while benefiting from MLT’s collaborative expertise. Helen Williams, CEO of MLT, welcomed the partnership, highlighting the strong relationships already built with Benton Park’s staff and governors over the past 18 months.
The Trust now includes eight schools across West and North Yorkshire, including Ilkley Grammar School and The Skipton Academy.
